VIM Certification Preparation is a specialist course focused on identifying, measuring, and understanding varnish and deposit-related problems in lubricated systems. Varnish is a major reliability issue in turbines, compressors, hydraulic systems, and other critical equipment. This course explains how varnish forms, where it causes problems, how it affects machine performance, and how different tests can be used to detect and monitor varnish potential. The course is designed for personnel preparing for the ICML Varnish Identification and Measurement certification, as well as reliability professionals who need to better understand varnish-related failures. VPR Certification Preparation is a specialist course focused on preventing and removing varnish in critical lubricated systems. The course builds on an understanding of varnish formation and focuses on practical strategies to control degradation, reduce deposit formation, and select appropriate varnish mitigation technologies. Participants will learn how lubricant selection, system design, temperature control, contamination control, electrostatic discharge mitigation, filtration, adsorbent media, resin systems, flushing, and oil maintenance practices influence varnish risk. This course is designed for personnel preparing for the ICML Varnish Prevention and Removal certification, as well as professionals responsible for solving varnish-related reliability problems Content provider: Lubrication Experts.
